Queer Eye is a television series premiered by Bravo cable TV network. In each episode of this reality show, five gay men, known as the Fab Five, set out to improve a straight man’s life by teaching him how to dress and furnish his place. Based on the claim that gay men are superior in their sense of fashion and style, queer men in this show, perform a makeover in someone’s life.
The show started with David Collins as its executive producer who is openly gay. Upon its premier in 2003, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy received very mixed reviews from various fans and opponents, both gay and straight.
